I love my local Teen Challenge Thrift Store. I really like the program it supports as well as the treasures I can find there.
Recently I brought home this *PINK* Atlas Sewing Machine.
I bought it simply because it was pink and old!
Of course they gave me a deal because we didn't know if it worked.
I cleaned it up, figured out how to thread the machine... and Voila! It works beautifully.
It looks lovely too.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE that pink sewing machine! Nice to see you join in the blog hop!
ReplyDeleteSuper find !!!! What a treasure - I'm glad you found it and have room for it ... that's always a consideration when I see great stuff. If the sewing machine could think, I'm sure it would be glad you "rescued" it.
ReplyDeleteLove the fact that you and Annalia used it to create a cute stuffed animal or whatever that was..:)
ReplyDeleteHeehee - I don't REALLY have room for it, but that's okay, we'll make a spot -- it weighs a TON, though -- solid machine. I like to think we rescued it, too. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so jealous! I really love that machine! And also I really like what you said in my blog comment (about the painting breathless), Thank you.:)
ReplyDeleteoh yes it is SOO beautiful!!! wow!! fab find!
ReplyDeleteI have that same machine! It is wonderful isn't it?! I actually haven't tried mine. It's still out in the garage. I was planning on reselling it because there just isn't room but you do have me thinking...
ReplyDeleteJill, I originally thought I'd sell mine too, but then I cleaned it up and sort of fell in love ;) so I guess it's a keeper!
